  • NUMS 2026 admissions

NUMS registration opens June 30, 2026 (closes July 24, 2026). The NUMS MDCAT is scheduled for September 2026. Test format: 200 MCQs in 3 hours — Part A (150 MCQs: Bio, Chem, Physics, English) and Part B (50 MCQs: Psychological Test).

NUMS conducts the entry route for its constituent, affiliated, and armed-forces administered medical and dental colleges.

The centralized MBBS/BDS admissions process uses a 50% entrance-test, 40% HSSC, and 10% SSC merit formula.

Eligibility: Pakistani nationals with F.Sc Pre-Medical and minimum 70% marks. Registration fee: Rs. 4,200.

  • What is the NUMS Entry Test? (NUMS MDCAT 2025-26)

The NUMS (National University of Medical Sciences) entry test is a centralized admission test for MBBS and BDS admissions to NUMS-affiliated, constituent, and armed-forces-administered medical and dental colleges in Pakistan. For the 2025-26 cycle, the NUMS merit formula used 50% entrance test score, 40% HSSC marks, and 10% SSC marks. NUMS runs its own admissions portal and candidates must register separately from provincial MDCAT routes.

  • How PrepAcademy Prepares Students for NUMS Entry Test:

PrepAcademy's NUMS track covers Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English — the core subjects in the NUMS entry test. The platform gives you topic-wise drilling, chapter-wise coverage, and full-length mock papers in one system. PrepAcademy is built around the timing and question style that NUMS uses, so your practice sessions directly replicate real exam conditions for the 2025-26 admissions cycle.

  • Topic-wise and Chapter-wise NUMS Preparation:

PrepAcademy's topic-wise test sessions let you target specific Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English units based on your weaknesses. Chapter-wise sessions build systematic coverage of the full NUMS syllabus. Because NUMS uses MCQs from across the entire book, disciplined chapter-by-chapter preparation is more effective than passive review close to the test date.

  • Full-Length NUMS Mock Papers (FLPs):

PrepAcademy's full-length mock papers simulate the actual NUMS entry test in terms of question count, subject distribution, and timing. Regular FLP practice develops the time management skills and exam-day stamina that NUMS aspirants need for a strong performance. Compare your scores across multiple attempts to measure growth over your preparation period.

  • Performance Analytics for NUMS Preparation:

After every PrepAcademy session, you get a subject-by-subject accuracy breakdown showing your strongest and weakest areas. Because NUMS merit depends significantly on your entry test score (50% weight), targeting the specific Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or English topics where you are losing marks is the highest-leverage activity in your NUMS preparation.

  • NUMS-Affiliated Colleges and 2025-26 Admissions:

NUMS conducts the entry route for its constituent colleges, affiliated institutions, and armed-forces-administered medical and dental colleges. The centralized MBBS/BDS admissions process for the 2025-26 cycle followed the 50-40-10 merit formula. PrepAcademy content covers the full NUMS syllabus and is updated as NUMS publishes official notices for the next admissions window.
