NET-2026 — multi-series system
NUST runs 4 test series per year. NET-2026 Series 2 results are published, Series 3 runs April 2026, and Series 4 runs June/July 2026. Format: 200 MCQs in 180 minutes, no negative marking. Best score across attempts is counted.
Candidates can appear in the NET multiple times — NUST counts the best score across all series for admission.
NET venues include Islamabad (H-12 Campus), Karachi (DHA City), Quetta (NUST Balochistan Campus), and Gilgit (APS Jutial).
NUST also accepts ACT or SAT for some programmes and seat types.

What is the NUST Entry Test (NET)? — NET-2026
The NUST Entry Test (NET) is the primary admission route for undergraduate engineering, computer science, and related programs at National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) Islamabad. NUST's official portals show NET-2026 already active, with results for NET-2026 Series-2 published. NUST allows candidates to appear multiple times across series, and the best score across all attempts is counted for admission. Subjects tested include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Intelligence/Reasoning.

How PrepAcademy Prepares Students for NUST NET:
PrepAcademy's NUST track is built around the NET subject mix — Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Intelligence — with topic-wise drilling, chapter-wise coverage, and full-length mock papers in one platform. The multi-series NET format means consistent practice across attempts is essential: PrepAcademy gives you the structured revision system to improve your score with each successive series attempt.
-
NUST NET: Mathematics and Physics-Heavy Preparation:
NET performance is most heavily influenced by Mathematics and Physics accuracy. PrepAcademy's topic-wise sessions let you drill each Math concept and Physics chapter individually, identifying exactly where your accuracy breaks down. Chapter-by-chapter coverage is the most reliable way to build the completeness that a multi-subject timed test like NET demands.
-
Full-Length NUST NET Mock Papers:
PrepAcademy's full-length mock papers simulate the NET's question distribution and timing across Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Intelligence. Regular FLP practice is essential for NET preparation because NUST counts your best score — students who practice multiple realistic papers before each series attempt consistently outperform those who only review notes. Use your mock scores to sharpen your pre-series preparation plan.
-
Performance Analytics for NUST NET:
PrepAcademy tracks your accuracy by subject and topic after every session. For NUST preparation, knowing which Mathematics chapters and Physics units are pulling your NET score down is the most important insight — because NUST's multi-series format gives you a direct second chance to recover marks in those specific areas. Use PrepAcademy's analytics to build a targeted improvement plan for each series.
-
NUST NET 2026 and Pre-Medical Engineering Pathway:
NUST's official portal also highlights a mandatory 8-week Mathematics course for pre-medical candidates applying to engineering — an important planning detail for candidates switching tracks. The NET route is available alongside ACT/SAT basis applications for specific programmes. PrepAcademy's NUST content covers the full NET syllabus updated for the 2026 series cycle.

16 courses, 10 reviewsa year agoPrepAcademy is the best platform to learn new technologies and courses. I have learned a lot many things from this platform.
I have also appreciated the availability of full-length papers and past papers. These resources have allowed me to practice with real exam questions and familiarize myself with the format and difficulty level of the actual exams. This has been instrumental in boosting my confidence and improving my performance.
